this amazing family

has a barely two year old and twin two month olds, and knowing that, you’d never guess that mom and dad would be nearly as calm as they were at their session!  It was one part playing with babies and one part hanging with the adorable toddler.  Here are a “few” of my favorites.  :)

IMG_1604This is Chester.  At one point in the middle of the session, we were feeding the babies, and he walked right up to the set, sat down and looked at the camera.  :)

There are so many more I want to show, but that would be overkill!

Hope all of my readers have happy, wonderful holidays.  Keep warm!

And I want to thank so many people for making Christmas so nice for my kids.  I’ve peeked at some of the gifts sent by friends and family and I know that my two sweet boys are going to LOVE what they’ve been given.  It makes my little mommy heart happy to be able to give my children gifts, even if they are just material things.  I hope my children know that I love them dearly, and I hope that

my hippy friend with the beautiful hair

my sweet friend who gave me the shirt off her back

my tell-it-like-it-is friend with the honest heart

my sisters (mom was right about them being the ones who’ll be there for you)

my in-laws and my almost sister and my parents

all know that I am truly grateful.  That you’ve touched my scroogey heart and I will never be the same.  This Christmas, my family has been downright spoiled by the people in our lives.  I only hope that I can return the favor to each of you in the future.

are you ready for some spring?

Yes, I am this behind on blogging client sessions.  Wouldn’t you love to be transported here right about now?

amaxwell-09This beautiful mom was my son’s first speech therapist through early intervention.  I can’t put into words how much she helped and blessed our lives.  A beautiful, wonderful person, inside and out.  Gideon adored her.

They call this move “circus girl”, and it’s the cutest trick ever.

And a side note:  I’m wondering if there’d be any interest in mentoring sessions taught by me.

anybody else

December 20, 2009 at 6:45 pm , by wynona

having a terrible end to 2009?  I am.  My husband lost his job.  My kids asked Santa for things that I can’t afford to get them.  And I just got back from spending almost an hour on the side of the freeway waiting for someone to tow our now dead only car back to our house.

I’m not exactly an optimist, but I thought of a way to make something good happen before the end of the year.  I’m going to give a photo session to someone else who’s having a rough time of it this year.  It’s something that won’t cost me anything but time.

For this to happen, I need your help.  Nominate someone you know to receive a free photo session and a disk of digital files by emailing me at info@wynonarobison.com.  I need to know why you think this person/family needs something good to happen to them this year.  (I won’t post that publicly without permission.)  The session will need to take place somewhere between Salt Lake City and Logan, UT before April 2010.

Edit to say that you can nominate yourself – even if you’re another photographer.  You know if you’re having a rough time of it.

“We were taught that the most important thing a young photographer can do is learn how to see. It wasn’t about the equipment we were using. I don’t remember being taught any technique. A camera was only a box that recorded an image.” -Annie Leibovitz

(thanks Jefra!)
